Participants who have not previously completed the Marathon-42 km distance are strongly advised to follow a serious training program. Please note that due to the HCMC Marathon taking place in the heart of the city, you may encounter some interruptions due to traffic lights. Kindly be understanding and follow the instructions of the event staff to ensure safety during the race. At the same time, the event will inevitably have some impact on resident’s commutes. If there are any inconveniences during participation, we kindly ask for the understanding of residents and participants. Runners will not be allowed to continue after the Cut-Off time at each checkpoint under any circumstances. This is to ensure that roads can be reopened to local residents in accordance with regulations. It also helps ensure the safety of security personnel, staff, and volunteers, preventing them from working extended hours in hot weather conditions. Aid stations (water and medical) will also be closed once traffic is reopened.

Registrations completed after 11:59 PM (ICT) on 15 October 2026 will be subject to the following conditions: - Names will not be printed on the race bib (BIB); - T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed; - Participants will be assigned to the last starting pen (corral). Only runners who finished the course within the cut-off time (Gun Time) can be awarded a Medal & Finisher Tshirt.

Note Race kit pick-up is not available on Sunday morning (17 Jan 2027). Please collect your BIB within the provided time.
- Original Passport or Citizen ID of the registered runner - Confirmation Email showing your assigned BIB Number (this will be sent 7 days before the event)
(1) Without exception, sending registration information via any form (registering directly on the website, sending individual registration emails, registering in groups, through our official partners) shows your consent – the contest participant, and you understand, agree, warrants and covenants to the race HCMC Marathon 2027. See details HERE. (2) Race entry fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. (3) The use of a BIB that does not belong to the registered participant is strictly prohibited. This regulation is in place to ensure proper race organization and to protect participants’ safety in case of any incidents during the race. (4) The Organizing Committee enforces a Cut-off Time for each race category after the official start. After this time, participants will not be allowed to start or continue their race, in order to ensure smooth operations and maintain a quality race experience. (5) Please help maintain public cleanliness. Waste disposal points are provided throughout 30/4 Park, at water stations, and along the race course. Participants are kindly requested to dispose of trash in designated areas to help preserve a clean, green, and beautiful city environment. (6) After the Cut-off Time, shuttle vehicles arranged will transport participants back. Participants who choose not to board these vehicles will not receive any further support. The race course will then be cleared and reopened for public traffic.
Race photos are available for purchase at a fee of VND 139,000. You may choose to register either before or after the race ends.
Your race photos will be sent to your email after the event concludes. The Organizing Committee will announce the photo delivery timeline on the event’s fanpage. Our photographers will try their best to get your best pictures during the race, however, sometimes runners are missed. We apologize in advance if you do not have a picture or missing some moments.
Participants can change the category or transfer their race entries once until 11:59 PM (ICT), 15th October 2026 (or before the slots are sold out). If you wish to do so, please send your request HERE. Your request will be processed and respond to your email within 7 days. Kindly keep an eye on your mailbox (include the spam one) during this time.
If you change to a category of a greater value than your original one, you are required to pay the difference of entry fees as it stands at the point of upgrading. If you change to a category of a lesser value, there is no refund of the difference in entry fees.

Due to space limitations at the Start & Finish area in the city center, the race will accept a limited number of participants. Registration will close once the maximum quota is reached. The registration fee is inclusive of VAT in accordance with current regulations. *Residents include Vietnamese citizens and foreign nationals who hold a valid residence card in Vietnam. The residence card must be valid both at the time of registration and during Race Kit collection.
